To those that successfully built this, did yall super glue this crap together? After seeing my son get frustrated for not being able to keep it together I insisted to help. Believe me, I’ve worked with dozens of Lego sets and none of them have been as difficult to stick together and keep together as this art has been. The parts are slightly off making the entire thing extremely difficult to piece together without loosing another end.

I bought this product a few days ago, and I love it. Though this product is awesome I can only display it with pikachu, squirtle, charmander, bulbasaur, or eevee, I suggest selling other tiles in packs or with the Pokemon that it has on the tile.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was okay. Not what I expected. My son really liked it though. Building it and paying with the cards. Very cool idea. The graphics in it looked good. The colors were definitely vibrant. Something different for sure.

Received this set as a birthday gift and I must say, I am disappointed by the quality. First and foremost, I’m missing a pretty obvious piece, now the set is clearly incomplete and is bothering me. Secondly, the stand is very unstable and even the slightest shake knocks the Pokédex out of it, the stand is the part that needs the most work. The back of the stand, where the extra lenticular cards are kept, should’ve been built with two 1 x 2 x 1 panel pieces while still keeping the 1 x 4 x 1 panel piece to prevent the extra cards from falling out easily. The set was fun to build and looks nice but the overall technical quality is poor. It’s only redeeming quality are the visuals. For the missing piece, I can’t even find the piece in the search, so I guess I’m stuck with this incomplete product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Difficult to complete. Too many Lego pieces to put together for the age of my son. He really wanted to finish putting it together but he lost interest when it became too complicated to finish. Will finish soon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the Mega Pokemon Kanto region pokemon lego set my eleven year old son was absolutely ecstatic as he is a big pokemon fan and collector. He immediately started putting it together, the instructions were very clear and he got it together in about twenty minutes. It comes with four face plates that you can switch out. Overall it is a great product and I highly recommend it to all pokemon enthusiasts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys (age 10 and 12) are huge building block fans, and often build sets with well over 1000 pieces. I was skeptical they would be engaged very long being this was much smaller. To my surprise they had a blast. They loved the little details and that it looked like a video game. The light up feature and interchangeable cards are a great touch. This is perfect for Pokemon fans that love building blocks also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was actually a very fun build, I love the light up power button opens like a book and has a stand that can hold all of the other cards. It really went together well I did not have any trouble reading the instructions everything click together perfectly, this was definitely a well made quality product and would recommend to Friends, family, and others.
First of all, it’s red.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can’t go wrong with Pokémon and building blocks. This set is detailed and fairly complex. It has many pieces of the same color, which was less engaging than other sets for my child. Unfortunately, she lost interest about a third of the way through, so I took over, with her finishing the last third. The completed set looks great and has a stand to display it, which is very cool. The lenticular pieces with the starter Pokémon are a neat feature and there’s a place to keep the extras in the back of the stand. Overall quality is nice, instructions are clear, and the finished product makes for a great display.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A fun build for your Pokémon loving kid or kid at heart! Instructions were clear and easy to understand. The diagrams highlighted the exact spot where the pieces would attach. If you made a mistake, the included tool had many ways to be able to loosen the part and try again. All in all the build took an about an hour. With a stand, moveable and interchanging parts this is a great toy for any Pokémon fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my 12 year old grandson play with this. He enjoyed putting it together and said it was a "good" toy. The graphics looked good. The toy doesn't close up when it is assembled so that was a drawback for him.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is probably one of my favorite builds so far! The age on the box says 13 and up and I do believe that to be true. It's a little complicated but fun build! I love the vintage handheld vibes. It has 5 different lenticular cards that move and a light up button to bring it to life!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 14 year old son was excited to build this Pokedex. In his opinion the only slightly tricky part was building the hinge area. Once it's complete itbis a very sleek looking build. My favorite part is the light up feature. My girls were super happy that an Evee brick/card was included! It also includes a display stand. Overall we feel this set is a great buy and worth the price. The original price is fair and on sale its a steal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was definitely fun to build, but when compared to a traditional lego set, it did have some very key differences. I will say that the first thing I noticed was that the instruction book was very thorough and easy to follow. I did like that it used different colors to distinguish where pieces should go. I will say these pieces were significantly harder to clip together compared to a traditional lego build and my kids did have some difficulty building it.
One step closer to catching them all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not sure what to make of the Kanto Region Pokedex building set as Pokemon has never been my thing. I personally cannot tell the 1st evolution of a Squirtle from the third evolution of a Charmander. But my son and wife are both Pokemaniacs (Pokemoniacs?) and we all love building sets, so I thought we would give it a go. The set has 322 pieces spread across six bags. The first three bags correspond to the back cover of the Pokedex, with the final three bags yielding the front cover and display stand. The instructions have detailed illustrations that use multicolored highlights to identify the studs being connected in each step. My role was to find the pieces used in each step whereas my son was the “engineer” putting it all together. One feature I really appreciated was the absence of stickers often used to add detail to blocks. Instead, the details are part of the pieces themselves. Thank you Mattel for eliminating the worst part of building sets - the painstaking process of aligning and centering images. All told, it took us a little over 2 hours to put it all together, and the final result feels substantial. The set has a few key features that really set it apart. First, there is a functional hinge that allows the Pokedex to open and close. Next, there is a power block that illuminates a piece on the front when pressed. Finally, there is a set of five lenticular cards corresponding to Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, and Eevee that can be displayed one at a time. Swapping these pieces involves removing a small panel in the back, pushing the current card out, snapping a new one in, and replacing the panel. This is not something my son wants to do constantly, but only when he is in the mood for a specific Pokemon. The inclusion of a stand to display the Pokedex is a nice plus. When open, the Pokemon shifts as you view it from different positions. In addition, the Pokemon cards not in use store neatly in the back. All told, this was a fun set to assemble and yielded a solid piece to display alongside my son’s other building sets.
