Great addition to a new vehicle!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was purchased for my wife's 2015 RX 350. Lexus did away with the 3G remote start and we really wanted this feature because in the summer it's been 105 and in the winter it's been as cold as negative numbers. This will allow us to start the car and cool it down or warm it up without having to sit in there. What's nice is you could be in your office and point the remote out the window and it'll start up to 3000 feet away. What a great investment for your vehicle. Installation went smoothly, Best buy really took care of the vehicle. We end up getting this with the free installation and that just made it even more of a value. What was a nice little bonus is that the factory remote will also remote start now because of this so you don't have to carry around the second remote if you don't want it, the only downside is you don't get the range that you would with the second remote.

Works perfectly for Nissan Rogue 2012 SL AWD
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the one of the part in my order that I placed to have remote start system in my Nissan Rogue 2012 SL AWD. It works as expected. My Nissan came with a key fob and had to maintain additional key fob for remote starter. The BB technician told me that it cannot be replaced with the original key fob as the Nissan programmed to identify the key to start/run the car. Now I need to carry 2 key fobs, that the only concern as it is bulky. The installation window appointment time definitely wouldn't be sufficient, just plan for the additional time when you have your appoinment. I toold the car to Geek Squad BB location and the team did a decent job. No complaints as of now.

The range is perfect and it works great for me. I have never had any problem trying to start the car from anywhere. I highly recommend especially if it’s your first auto starter.

Deal Of The Day Chicken Dinner Winner
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Am thoroughly pleased with the quality as well as ease of use and there’s nothing better than the professional installation experience other than having more seating in the wait area. Bonus on top was I got the remote starter at a cutthroat price much lower than ever seen advertised and got an extra credit refunded to further reduce the cost lower than expected! Already referred my dad to buy from BB to have one installed before winter for his recent purchase of a secondary vehicle!

Good so far
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. Got this on a great sale Best Buy was having. I've had it for about 2 weeks and I'm really enjoying the remote start. It has excellent range. I can start my truck from about 50yrds away through a metal building. Great for getting the truck warmed/cooled for the weather outside before I get there.

Q: QuestionWhat does two way mean? and why is it $200 more? What am I getting for this?
Asked by Aromacat.
- A:Answer Two way means the remote will also receive a signal from the car, so you can confirm the car is running by looking at the remote. Be sure to wait for for a sale. This kit is/was on sale for two-hundred-fifty, including installation. It is a solid deal at two-fifty considering it pays for both the kit and installation labor by Best Buy. The regular four-fifty price is outrageous.

Q: QuestionAre both remotes two way remotes?
Asked by Mando.
- A:Answer Negative, only one of the remotes is two-way. Peace and blessings, Azeke

Q: QuestionThe price of 239.99 includes everything needed on the installation of the remote starter? or is there any additional cost?
Asked by guillormz.
- A:Answer Installation was included. Some model of cars might need a wiring kit but that was only around $12.00.

Q: QuestionDid anyone else not get a shred of documentation other than the blank installation agreement signed before leaving? I would like to know the serial number of my module at least.
Asked by Ballsnabunch.
- A:Answer I just had mine installed on October 14th, 2020 and I left with the yellow carbon copy installation agreement and the box with manuals the system came in. It’s a quick start guide like that informs me on how to operate the system with the serial number on it.

Q: QuestionWhere do you have it installed. No installation cost?
Asked by Jo.
- A:Answer I've had 6 remote starts put in all my vehicles through best buy. On all of them the installation was included in the price you pay for the remote start. Only extra cost would be if they needed an additional part for something.

Q: QuestionOne reviewer says that Toyota and Lexus vehicles will turn off when the door is opened. Can this be confirmed before purchase or is this only confirmed after installation? I have a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser that shows to be a compatible vehicle. Thank you!
Asked by Fjbaby.
- A:Answer Toyota Corolla 2017 does not turn off when open the door

Q: QuestionI have 2019 Highlander and I just had this unit installed, & i am questioning the Tech was experience. When i got this back he told me i am not able to use my factory keyfob, but i see lots of people are. IS this TRUE? Also he didn't install my hood pin.
Asked by TNMAGIC.
- A:Answer The answer for this question is not true because I bought about 12 of this remote starts for my family and close relatives and no one complained about any issue that they can’t use their factory keys. Everyone happy about this product. Just to let this person that ask this question knows that I would say it depends on how good the technician’s knowledge that do the installation for your car remote start.

Q: QuestionAre you able to still use your regular key to start your car just in case you lose your remote starter fob?
Asked by Chunks.
- A:Answer Yes you can and if you lose your car starter fob you can just buy an additional replacement and have it reprogrammed.
