Does this soup have an extended shelf life? Assuming this is leftover Gifts from Christmas, is there an expiration date?

No...great for serving from a crock pot though.

They are ceramic and microwaveable it didn't say oven proof

UM the dried soup mix is 5 oz. (think of liptons dried soup and how light that actually is, for example. the soup bowls (guessing) would hold at least 8 oz cup worth, possibly 10? that is just guessing however by looking at the picture. the pkg is about 14 inches tall.

I bought this as a gift for my mother. I remember her using them for all kinds of soups and chili when I was a kid. She moved out of state and left them behind when she and my dad divorced. I was surprised they still made these and when she got them in the mail, she was so excited and the cups came with a soup mix which she said was delicious, the best chicken noodle soup she ever had! The gift set reminded me of a fond child hood memory and I was so glad the quality and size of the soup cups were identical to those she had when I was young. It was like giving her back a piece of her past. I can't wait to visit her and eat her homemade soup out of those cups. The price was unbeatable! I bought these at Christmas time as a bundle with another gift set. I got the soup and cups for $10.00 but the bundle was ($20) which worked out great because I got my dad something he loves in the bundle also. All around great product in every way.

Great product

Very cute bowls that are a great shape and size. Having recipes on the bowls will remind me to make homemade soup more often. Because they are so cute, it makes it fun to eat out of them

Very fun bowls!

I got these to give as a gift to my mother. She had a set like this before and they were lost when she moved. I was familiar with this product and it is a good value for the money. I would recommend it highly. Although the soup that comes with it well, it wasn't too tasty but it was what I expected.

This item was to be a Christmas present and was delayed, so it was after Christmas when it was delivered, and one of the cups had a chip in it.  I was so bummed and had to make a 45 min drive to return it to the store.

Great Recipes

Very nice item. I purchased multiple to give as gifts. These were a hit! However, half were damaged. Either due to poor handling or the way they are packaged. The front is just clear plastic and doesn't really protect this fragile item from damage. If you purchase, I would suggest not having shipping. And if purchased in store, check over it very well.

Cute

Came with one of the mugs broken, and the side of the box damaged. Looks like it was handled improperly prior to shipping, because the shipping box itself wasn't damaged. There's also a line of sticky tape holding the mugs to the packaging, which is a pain to get off.

Incomplete delivery

these are run of the mill soup bowls. I got them because the shape helps keep the soup in the bowl even if the nowl is tilted. There were 6-8 sets on the shelves at the store. Only one set didn't have any bowls broken. So I bought that set. The firt time i used one the handle broke off. I hope the other 3 bowls last better than that.

My one star is for my disappointment in Walmart shipping and packaging. 
The soup bowls gift set looked so cute on the website. I was so excited when placing my orders. But to my disappointment, they arrived broken in pieces. See pictures. 
I do not have the time to go and stand in line at Walmart to do an exchange, nor being on hold for more than an hour with a Walmart customer rep. Guess I'll take a loss on this order.
