Good afternoon. If you bought the battery right now it would carry the 3 year warranty. Pro ration has been removed from these batteries.

3 years is the end. And, it's only for what they consider "failure". 9 years is a BOLD FACED LIE. At 3 years + 1 day your coverage is ZERO.

This is a 3 year battery that may last 2 - 3 years in your climate. Summer is going to be very hard on this battery in NM. It's a very popular battery because Walmart is very popular, but it's not a very good battery overall.

If you did not keep your receipt you will not be able to use the warranty. There should have been a little bag on the side of the battery for storing your receipt.

What is the full warranty and where can I get a printout

I have used it in -15F! Cranked my car over in a blink. Northern Michigan can be brutal but the battery has performed well in three of my cars in even the coldest of conditions.

Cold cranking amps is defined as the amount of current an auto battery can deliver at 0 Deg F within 30 sec. without dropping below 10.5 V.

The rated CCA is for a factory fresh battery with a full charge. As a battery ages, the CCA will decrease. High quality batteries will maintain a higher percentage of the original factory rated CCA over a longer period of their life span. Cheap batteries will degrade faster. So two different batteries with identical CCA ratings when new may test completely differently in two years. One may test as good-to-new while the cheaper one may already be at failure levels.

how cold does the 700 cold cranking amps stay good for

Good morning. The amount of acid in the package you bought has the exact amount of acid you need for that battery. Never fill a battery to the top of the openings as it will overflow during the charging process.

Look into the fill hole after removing cover see where the plastic goes down it has two slits in it this is called a split ring the water should come up to the ring but not above. Hope this helped but only use distilled water

When my old battery decided to give up on me, I decided to find a battery with top notch cold cranking amps and an overall well built battery. Our tough winter climate can kill wimpy batteries in less than a heartbeat. Plus the summers and all the activities can chew a battery up and spit it out if it is not up to the challenges. So far this battery has been up to the challenge.

I left my headlights on in my car for a week, after arriving at my vacation destination! This made it necessary to purchase a new battery! Just what I needed!

Battery is great but was given a huge run around trying to turn my old battery in for the core fee. They charged 12 bucks and then nobody knew how to refund me the core for my old battery. They kept asking me if my new battery wasnt working and had to explain to them i only wanted to turn in my old battery to get my core charge back. I am disabled and have trouble standing for long periods of time. Finally after approx 30 minutes they figured it out.

This is the second MAXX battery I have purchased and like the first, I am nothing short of extremely pleased. This one went into a 99 Grand Am restoration/modification project and it consistently has performed even though it only gets charged by running the vehicle occasionally.

Second MAXX Battery I have purchased

I bought one of these many years ago and had it for 8yrs until I sold my truck. I just had to replace the original battery out of my car. I put the maxx 75 in and had a complete failure before the first month. They swapped the battery out. The failed battery was produced less than a week before I bought it according to the sticker on the battery. I hope the replacement lasts as long as the on I had in my truck! I still believe they make decent batteries because I have the same one in my girlfriends car for a little over 6yrs.

Battery was ok, core policy and return was not worth the time. First Walmart does not pick up the core if battery is delivered.  I went to the Walmart in my area with the battery core, automotive sent me to customer service.  Customer service said I needed to call Walmart at 1-800Walmart to obtain a core credit.  The person I spoke with at corporate was very helpful, he had a credit posted to my account in 15 minutes.

I did not like the inordinate long time to get a refund for the battery core charge when I bought a new battery. Finally got a gift card for the amount of the core charge and had to again wait in line at customer service to get them to key in the card manually.

45 minutes to get a core charge refunded

...quite simply know this about buying car batteries on, you can't turn in your old battery online or anywhere else. Online will however, still charge you $12 core charge fee and you can't go to your nearest Walmart and drop off the old battery and get $12 core charge back. In order to return a battery, however, the said battery must be tested. The Walmart one mile away had tester, but not proper terminal adapters. So I had to drive 10 miles (Royal Palm Walmart)to have it tested. It tested negative and it hadn't even been hooked up to anything. An hour and half plus standing in the first store's return line for 1/2 hour before the bad news was given me, (policy and ill equipted) was only surpassed by the run-a-round getting it tested, then standing inline for 15 minutes then not being able to pull-up the QR code from my phone(which was finally waved) and I was finally refunded the purchase price plus the core charge from the online purchase. I had made an over the counter purchase the day before at that same store that had the battery I needed and accepted my old battery in Royal Palm Walmart
