A: AnswerThe Nest Thermostat (2020) comes with a 6 cm color LCD with 240x320 resolution, and mirrored glass finish. It provides more wiring terminals (10) that work with most 24V heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, and heat pumps with either forced air or radiant delivery. On the other hand, the Nest Thermostat E comes with polycarbonate, ceramic-feel finished ring with a frosted display that works with fewer (86%) 24V heating and cooling systems. While both Nest thermostat models work with most two-stage heating and two-stage cooling systems, we recommend checking the Compatibility Checker on our Google Nest support site to verify if your system is compatible. Great energy saver!
Replaced our old Thermostat for the Nest. It works great and its the first Smart decice for our house. Love how it can be controlled from my phone. It also helps save energy with the app. I will say dont use the Geek Squad as they did not do a good job installing. They blew a fuse in the furnace and said to call a pro as the nest didnt work. I They touched a wire together. The electrician told me they should have not only turned off the ac on the panel but also unplug the furnace when installing. I need to paint the wall where the old one was as it was bigger.

I love it
Great option to substitutes your analog thermostat, easy to install, setup and use. The temperature can be set up for heat or cool at different temperatures for different times of the day from the app, and can be controlled, I didn’t like that the base plate does not come included, I would just need to perchase it to cover up the screw holes from my previous thermostat.

Google nest thermostat
Really nice device for the price there are a few things i had issues with but pretty easy to set up as long as you follow the instructions it shows on the phone and once it has everything right all in one run it runs amazingly and the convenience is amazing
