Good morning. Walmart sells the 5 yr. warranty Everstart Maxx 35 battery and the 2 yr. warranty Everstart Plus 35-3 battery that will work for that vehicle if it is the 2.2L engine. If it is the 3.0L enigine, Walmart sells the 5 yr. warranty Everstart Maxx 24F and 35 battery and the 2 yr. warranty Everstart Plus 24F-3 battery that will work.

I fractured my ankle and was not able to go to do shopping of any sort. Found out that the battery in my car had corrosion. So I thought well I need a few things from Walmart but will they deliver a battery!? 

Sure enough, they did and I was very grateful to them for it. My neighbor came by and switched out the batteries for me, so far so good. I haven't had any issues with it.

Right On Time!

I had been having trouble starting my 2005 Ford Escape XLT, so I decided that I could try this particular battery, I had no idea that it would be delivered within a couple hours after ordering it..and, it already had a full charge! I am so happy for Walmart's selection of great products, even happier since I've been stranded. My husband has Stage 4 Prostate/ Bone Cancer, so I cannot even explain properly as to how much I LOVE, my Walmart  Membership!
Kudos to, Walmart, and, Capital One.."what's in your wallet"?

Like it all . Battery has enough cranking power to start engine and perfect fit for battery area . Was about 45$ cheaper than auto store prices . Didn't have to deal with old battety exchange . Pull up to delivery area and brought out in less than 5 min.    Good buy

Customer was slow due to lack of knowledge entering info in the system.  i stood in front of him and he went back to coworker at the back to show him hiw to do it.  back and forth 4 times.  Finally a supervisor showed to both reps how to do it.  Please train your new employees properly so customers will not wait for a longtime.  furthermore, i ask the rep that i want to buy a filter for my car.  He did not find or attempt to look for it.  i left disappointed.

Battery Installation

Auto battery was fine......but....the store tried to intentionally overcharge on the sales tax to cover an auto battery core charge that was supposed to be $0.00 if ordered on line.
store manager took 40 minutes to correct the $12.00 tax overcharge.....
not a good experience.....very shady.
beware ! ....check your sales tax on auto batteries ordered on line and then picked up at the store !

Shady sales tax charges at Walmart

Delivered very fast, Battery itself seemed to work great for a couple of months, its now only 4 Months old, and it needs to be recharged already, this is normal after 3 to 5 years, not months. Planning on looking into warranty and seeing if recharging or replacing works out.

Great Service on delivery, Battery not good.

I wouldn't recommend to buy the battery online. You will be charged a core fee that you get back when you return your old battery (in theory). Unfortunately when you try to return your battery to the store they will be telling you that you weren't charged for it. I showed them in my Walmart app that I was charged but they just told me that they don't care because in their system it doesn't show the charge. I was told to call customer service which I did. Customer service told me that the fee was charged and I should bring the battery back to the store and tell them that they should call customer service if they have a problem. So I brought my battery back to the store where I again was told it's not in their system so they can't give me the money. When I told them that customer service requested them to call for clarification, if necessary, they told me that they can't call them. Basically after several attempts with calling customer service and returning the battery to the store (several different stores), I gave up. Never again will I buy a battery from Walmart online.

battery OK, buying online big mistake

I am a very unhappy shopper right now. 
I needed a new battery and the one I needed was not in stock at my local store so I placed the order online through Walmart.com for product delivery the next day. I got my battery (it was delivered on time and as promised), I installed it and, at this point, everything was on track for a great experience. 
When it was time to take my spent battery back for the core refund, I printed off my order receipt from my email inbox and headed to my local Walmart. When I presented it to the girl behind the counter, she looked at my receipt and told me that, because I purchased the battery online, she couldn't help me with the core refund. At this point, there is still the possibility of redeeming the situation, allowing me to remain a happy customer. So I went home and called Walmart customer service. 
To begin with, getting to speak with a live operator is like pulling teeth. And then, when I finally do get to speak with someone, it is a call center. I'm not blaming the girl I spoke with for the fact that a language barrier kept her from fully understanding what I was trying to tell her. I am the most patient person you will ever meet, but I ended up pretty heated and hung up on the girl and told myself maybe I'd have better luck with Walmart's corporate customer service number. Same result: call center, language barrier, though the girl I spoke with this time seemed a little better able to understand the problem at hand. End result: I was on the phone with them for better than half an hour and still don't know the status of my core refund or what I am to do with the old battery. For resolution, I am supposed to watch for an e-mail when, hopefully, the problem will be rectified. This experience will make me think twice before placing an online order for delivery through Walmart again. While browsing reviews, it allows you to filter for mentions of particular words. I filtered for the word "core" and, by doing this, I found out that there were 15 other customers who experienced the exact same problem as I did. Mine will make 16. As another reviewer said, do better, Walmart.

Be forewarned! Very DIFFICULT core refund process!

Walmart should allow availability status to be shown to the consumer BEFORE they purchase an item that Walmart knows full well is OUT OF STOCK.  No one wants to spend money in a needed item, only to be made to sit on their hands with the only option of canceling.  What a waste of time and misguided advertising!!

Ask Availability First

Tried to get my core charge refunded and they said they couldn't do it because it wasn't showing it on the online statement but it was clearly marked where $12 was my core charge and $3 dollars were the recycling fee. Guy at the vehicle area was extremely rude and I asked for his name and they would not give it to me. Next time I'll look at his name tag if he's working at the counter to make a complaint.
